Great pic.

Anyone have a Ti Military with an Inkosi ?

That's crazy talk, nothing wrong with s30v. Yes they could have higher end steel on the ti millie, but it's still a great steel.

I've never owned a sebenza, but I'm very partial to a military. If I could have a choice between a ti millie or a sebenza I'll take the millie. Call me crazy

I'd beg to differ about S30V but I'm with you, I'd rather have a ti millie with m390 or something than a Sebenza.

You could always buy a sprint military with your desired steel and a ti and swap blades. Would be about the same price as a sebenza. That would be pretty cool actually.

I don't own any CRKs and my only Millie has g10 but I love it. This knife is great to use and feels nice in my hand. I have never liked the design of the Senbenza but would love to check out the Umnumzaan.

More precisely, this one: Spyderco Ti Military, Carbon Fiber and Titanium Handle with R.I.L Lock & S90V, Knifeworks Exclusive (not available yet).

the military is a very good knife but it is big!!

Have owned many, but would much rather carry the PM2 or my large Sebbie. No contest, IMO.
I believe that relatively few persons would tend to compare the Millie and the Sebbie as equal worker bees.
IIRC, even Sal has mentioned here that the two knives (Millie/PM2 And the Sebbie) are not to be considered in the same category.

Jim Ankerson would certainly agree and the S30V Millie was his EDC for a very long time.

Yup.

And I still carry it once in awhile too alternating between the S30V and S110V Military's.

I have an M4 Ti/ G-10 Millie and a Lrg Inkosi..I'll get pic up when I get home.

I do remember being very impressed w/ the full Ti/S30V Millie I had..great knife. Carried it for over a year...carried smaller than it looked...loved it in the wet/cold weather.. Stainless and pleasure to operate w/ gloves.

Different enough animal from CRK's to warrant owning both ;)

If Spyderco wouldn't be obstinate about no-tip-up carry on the Mili, I might just love it. I cannot stand to carry a folder tip down. Totally different league with a CRK though.

For me the military seems to be the only knife I'm comfortable with in tip down carry position. The size of the knife seems to justify it. I personally love the clip on the military as well. It's a big knife that handles like a medium sized one.

After 4-5 small Sebs, I traded for my first large. Was concerned it might be too big, but it isn't. I prefer it to the Millies I've had, but never had a Ti. Slicing goes to the Millie, but overall goes to the Sebenza for robustness, F&F.

CRK is THE standard to which I (And many others.) hold up every knife too. CRK is head and shoulders ABOVE Spyderco.

Perhaps a more appropriate comparison. Functionally, I'd be hard pressed to decide which of these is the better knife. The radiused titanium scales on the bowie are subtle, but contribute to the overall feel of the knife. Weirdly elegant.

I have this battle basically every morning.

Got a fluted Ti Millie and some CRKs. The CRKs gives me a feeling of rock solid strength that Spyderco fail to deliver in the vast majority of their offer, but it's a matter of personal opinion.
A CRK is not as pretty as a Ti Millie for sure.
