Spyderco Vallotton on its way, any thoughts?

It's more of my personal pride of ownership than workmanship. I'm not knocking taiwanese produced Spyderco's in quality compared to their US made counterparts. In considered the vallotton To be made to the same standard, fit, and finish as a lot of my ZT's and other USA made blades. It was a combination of the large pocket presence and the fact that it wasn't USA made like the majority of the rest of my collection that caused me to gift the vallotton to a friend.

Fair enough and if you're looking for any more friends to give vallottons to, I'm here for you bud!:D. I'm particular to certain steels even if others claim they've had great results so I can understand that.

It hasn't left my back pocket all weekend. Hardly notice it clipped to the pocket. There are lighter but I check time to time to make sure its still there. So far so good...:)

Any maintenance recommendations for the vallotton? Oiling, or any reason ever to disassemble at any time?
