Spyderco VG-10 Durability Review

Josh K ,all sorts of things, cardboard seems to kill it quickest.I also work with wood, kydex, plastic, leather, etc. It really depends on what I'm doing. Have a Spyderco Endura 3 Stainless in Aus6 which is great. Finally went to a Benchmade 710D2,but always wondered why the Spyderco VG10 would dull so fast.

If it's dulling that fast I would send it back and have Sal look at it.

VG-10 should be doing better than that.

Well,I honestly hate to trouble Mr.Glesser. Thing is I can't figure out where I'm doing something wrong.I really want the steel to work for me.I have some spyderco's still in the box I haven't used because I didn't want to be disappointed in knives I had such high hopes for. Perhaps it would be better for me to post an inquiry in the Spyderco forum and risk the flames..

Cardboard dulls knives quick, I do know that. TWBryan, what angle are you using on the sharpmaker? I use 40 on all of my knives (Spyderco included) and it seems to work great, especially after revisiting the issue I posted about.

I would just send him a PM. :)

It's possible it could be a bad HT and if so they will just put a new blade in and it will be done. ;)
