Yeah, I ordered mine before they sold out, it's not the material or locking mechanism your paying for. This is all novelty, and I've fallin for it hook line and sinker. Would gladly do again.

Yeah, you could put the money towards the S110V Native, or a Domino and get a little more bang for your buck. The Worker should be a nice little knife with the G10 scales. The blade is under 3" so it'll come in handy where the laws are strict on length. Got one on order.

Using KnifeWorks as a price example, the price of $159.75 for the Worker G-10/VG-10 makes no sense when you consider that the Native5 CF/S110V was $178.55 yesterday!

True, if Worker would be made in Golden, using existed tooling. But (always "but") it is made in Japan with new tooling, which should be covered by small run.
I bought very few knives for myself in 2014, but Worker made in my list.

Gen 1 an Gen 2 are on flea bay for less then the new sprint run  I didn't know about the green sprint till I saw ten on flea bay.

I was at spyderco in Golden yesterday and I really liked the Worker, albeit expensive.

While a part of Spyderco history and I'm sure a beautiful knife, this one is a bit steep for me as well. Glad for those who picked one up.

Saw it, bought it, love it! Feels great in hand, terrific fit and finish. Sharp out of the box, and one tremendous looking blade design. I'm one happy camper.......

I got two of them ~~ one to use and the other one goes in the Safe ~~ time will tell if I use the one I am looking at on the
table or not.! My Queen Safes are kinda running over and I guess another Safe is not far away in the future because of my
addiction of Knives and such.**

Beautiful and very pointy blade. I love it. I used to have commemorative Worker, but I love this one much more.
Also I would love to see Worker with 3.5" blade, finger choil and low riding wire clip.

Overpriced for a VG10 lock back and at 1500 total made overproduced..which seems the way Spyderco is going nowadays=Pass
