I just received the Spyderco Delica 4 in FFG and I want to buy another Spydie. What is the best for the money?

Lots of good values with the Spyderco line. If you want something to match up with your new Delica there's the bigger "Endura 4" which is available in multiple colors just like the Delica. Other than that some of the more popular ones to start with would be the "Paramilitary 2", the "Sage" series knives, the "Manix 2" (although I'm personally not a fan of the looks of this one", also the "Gayle Bradley 2" is a great value. As I said there are lots of great knives made by Spyderco. I would go as far as to say that they are by far the best mid/high level company on the market right now when it comes to all around bang for your buck in comparison to others.

Best cutting performance per dollar would probably be one of the S110V lightweights. Chaparral 1 is probably the best modern production slicer I know of. And Manix 2 and Para 2 are among the best all around EDC knives available today.

Very similar to the delica but I love the salt series. You get a rust proof steel and it is way lighter

Best bang for the buck has to be the standard Native 5 LW. Though I'm partial to the Manix 2 LW myself, even though the steel isn't quite as good.

Slices really well and has the ball bearing lock. Can't go wrong with any Spydie though.

I have to agree that the Manix 2 LW is the best value for money, though it never resonated with me. If you want something different, I'd go for a Paramilitary 2 or your favorite locking mechanism from the Sage series. If you want a matching friend, look at the Dragonfly 2 or Endura.

If your budget won't accommodate those, there's always the Tenacious (good budget EDC), or its little brothers the Ambitious and Persistence, or its big brother the Resilience.

As has already been said, of course, you can't go wrong with Spyderco.

I really like spyderco. delica is excellent I guess you need to tell us what's most important in your carry knife that you want?
Steel
Locking mechanism
Weight
Handle material
Thinness
Size
Blade shape

I have a grey Delica 4 and a grey Endura, like Father and Son. The Manix 2 LW is also awesome, but I think I would go with the Endura because that is what I seem to carry all the time, even got a Casey Lynch deep pocket clip coming for it.

Have to go with Native and Manix, bang for buck. I no longer own one but everyone should try a PM2

I love to hear from an FRN appreciator! It is such a fantastic handle material. G10 feels nice and of course carbon fiber is fancy.... But FRN really just may be better than necessary.

The Native 5 LW would be my highest recommendation! It is hard to beat at any price. Second would be the Paramilitary 2. I pick the N5LW first because the steel is an upgrade from the PM2 yet it is $40-60 cheaper. The Para 2 is great because of a closer to ideal blade length and the just plain fun of the compression lock.

Welcome to the Forum bud! If your diggin the FRN on the Delica then I would recommend the Stretch (or the Endura as mentioned above). I personally favor the Stretch. Love the choil and it fits my hand perfectly. Really like the blade shape too! Good luck deciding :D

I'm a big fan of the Salt line. Rust proof knives are one of the biggest advancements in the history of cutting tools.
