Spyderco

Already mentioned, but I'll second these three, and in this order since we're talking "bang for the buck":

Endura FFG
Manix 2 LW
PM2

The PM2 might be the best edc knife on the market. At the price charged by many retailers of 40% off mrsp, it s a great value!

Endura. Follow that with a Military. Follow that with a Chaparral. Follow that with...

Another vote for the Manix 2 LW! Awesome all-around knife. I use mine everyday and have really learned to appreciate the BD1 steel.

The next obvious step from a value point of view is the Endura priced similar to the Delica. I have two Enduras, but have chosen not to carry them because of the blade length, my perception of people's reaction to blade length, and convenience of carry. Personally I have found the Delica to be just right for regular carry and I tend to look at knives that are approximately sized like the Delica. I very much like the Native 5. The Manix is a bit bigger.

You can go smaller with the Dragonfly as an example. It is a pretty handy blade. I personally don't own one. I got a Kiwi 4 about a year ago and really like it for regular carry when I want something light, but I feel it might be a tad over priced relative to the steel used. But still really like it.

Many of the popular Spydies are much more expensive than the Delica. That is a decision on value you just have to come to grips with.

As others have recommended ...

Manix 2 LW in S110V
Native 5 LW in S35V
Paramilitary 2 in S30V

And adding to the list ...

Stretch in ZDP189

Love my Delica 4, but my favorite of all my Spydies is the PM2. Such a great knife.

not necessarily a good bang for your buck knife, but the manix 2 in blurple has a lot of things going for it.
Its got g-10 scales with skeletonized liners which reduce the weight somewhat, and it comes in s110v steel.
product page: https://www.spyderco.com/catalog/details.php?product=970
So while its not a true lightweight, its not a full weight manix either.
g-10 scales gives the handle more rigidity over the lightweight model
and liners add strength over the lightweight model

Surprised that no one recommended the Sage 2 or 3. Phenomenal knives, perfect size for EDC and superb ergonomics. The Bolt Action lock is incredibly strong, but does require some cleaning now and then. Sage 2 of course has the well known R.I.L which will make you eventually want a Sebenza!

The Sage series really makes you appreciate the different variations of knife features and locks out there! Check em out.

Para 2 is an excellent choice as well.

Was Para 2 mentioned yet? :D

Just kidding... still the Para 2 is my choice too.. best production folder in my book...

I want to buy another Spydie. What is the best for the money?

The best bang for the buck Spyderco IMO, is pretty easy: the Spyderco Military Titanium. The quality on this model, is exceptional!

Good luck!

True, this is one truly exceptional folder. It's a bit pricey, but getting another knife with same level of quality will cost you much much more.
But it is such a beautiful knife I actually feel guilty using it, hence it became a safe queen.

If budget is not an issue, you should also consider the Vallotton. Awesome quality for the price, the fit and finish is unbelievable.
