Spydercos are box opener childish idea cliff

Blood grooves are critical, for ease of materials consuption, you need a smooth release before mastication can commence.

They will also feature :

-bone breaking notches, a saw back
-serrations (two kinds!!!)
-range finders in the handle
-a indent for a fire drill
-the end is hardened and sharp for a bowl scraper
-one side is mirror polished for use as a signaling device

They are awesome, they will cost $385 for the large and $330 for the small.
When will the left hand version be available?

Edited to add: Trane Fan, Sorry if I missed the the joke. I wanted to make sure I didn't offend you with my post, first and foremost.
All in fun. :D I just couldn't pass up such an easy opportunity. Take care, tf ;)

Sebeneza4Ever, your constant attempts at attacking Spyderco are beginning to get annoying, to say the least. It really does not help your arguement by doing this, nor does it help your credibility.

I would recomend you drop the subject and salvage what dignity you have left (If their is any :D ).

I can't believe this childish bullshit is still going on. :barf:

Sebenza4ever, take your ball and GO HOME....Or at least someplace far, far away.

Maybe a special forum for non-metallic sporks -- I acquired a Lexan spork recently and it's awesome!

Fool, you've been duped by those crazed lexan fanatics. It could not possibly have the strength of an S30V spork nor could it come even close to possessing the charm and elegance of a damascus one.

Personally I think the Spyderco Dodo is a better box cutter. The amount of pressure you can apply with it is insane, much better than my wood inlayed Sebbie
;)

Yes sir! :D I concur.

He does have a semi-valid point there though, those are not ideal box cutters, those are not how they are promoted though, and I would not mind having a Civilian.

-Cliff

I would never want to own a knife called a "Civilian". It's bad enough having cops call us "civilians" these days, but having a knife company promote the idea as well is..... contemptable.

*sorry for the little OT rant*

I agree, why do they call it the civilian anyways?

In anything the above is likely to turn people away from the Sebenza (when taken in context with the other similar posts) which is what extreme support tends to do in general.

-Cliff

"extreme support" seems to be name the name of the game over at the political fourm- a real troll-hole. Thats where I thought this strained sebe/spydie artificial brouhaha belonged. But I've been enjoying these threads so much lately they should stay in general- let everyone have a laugh.

Everyone knows a certain poster is a joke; but who would have thought a certain respondant would become such a become such a comedian. Range finding sporks ha! :)

Spyderco actually makes a point of saying that the Civilian is not meant to be used for anything except self defense.

Wouldn't flesh (muscles, skin, ligaments, tendons, tissues) be harder to cut through than boxes?

The ever forward thinking Homeland Security department has already suggested to the President that Lexan sporks, as well as those made from ceramics, other polymers, really really hard leather, etc. be banned from manufacture. So, if you do see one of those limited edition Spork Ops in tactical OD Lexan, snatch her up!

But how effective are the plastic versions at covertly de-animating a Russian double agent and a bowl of tomato soup (extra thick)?

Actually they have a term Martial Blade Craft-MBC over at the Spydie site.

It really all depends on which way the moon is facing and if the Russian agent is facing toward Mars. :D
