According to the Facebook page they have been dealing with denial of service attacks for the last week or so. Must have been a bad one today, I couldn't get BF to load all day. Of course this saved me $$$$, which is good. Denial of service means I don't have to rely on my will power not to buy a knife every five minutes. :D

I got a Native 5 in the mail today. Not sure I am going to keep it or not. I like it, but it is awfully similar in size to the Caly 3 that I already have, and the Caly 3 is a little lighter. Someone needs to talk me into keeping it. :)

I also got my first mid-tech. A Sacha Thiel Officer, my first impression is very positive!

Well that kinda explains it.....oh and am I the only on that would kill for this proto?

Don't keep it its a piece of crap....send it to me so I can properly dispose of it:D

No man I'd carry it for a day or two and see if it grows on ya, but only time can tell...

No you are not, it's by Marcin Slysz the designer of the Techno. I will be all over it when it comes out.

I'll be there before you!!! the thing I really like about it is the milled out portion by the hilt for you're thumb

Native5, tough yet elegant well built American made knife. It could probably survive a nuclear attack. What's not to like :D

How do you like the pivot bushing on it? I've learned that I can open and close it in ways similar to the PM2 if I wanted to. Of course, nice and slow is my preferred method of opening, but snap closing it (gently) one handed is nice.

I pulled the trigger on the moonglow out of excitement but I now realize that it's just gonna sit in my collection. Very nice and cool, but I won't be carrying it at all. I'll probably end up using it to fund one of the other two Native5's known to be coming out. I'm uber ready for those!

You are correct, the bushing system on it is a plus. It opens much smoother than many of my other Spydie back locks. I agree with 9blades, I will just have to use it for a while and see if it grows on me.

Man I can't get FLUTED CF out of my mind....
That is why I try to pick and choose what I buy.I know that I am 100 % sure that I will buy N5 sprints. The Manix XL sprints are a must-have and any other PM2's like a ti version.I would love to see the N5 line expand(sprints)beyond a lightweight version.I saw the N5 moon glow EDC forum knife and have mixed feeling about that particular version...

I can see where your coming from....for me this year I'm trying to get to focus on higher end stuff.

Some stuff on my hit list

para 2
spyderchef (if it happens)
sage 1/2
BM 940
BM Presidio
bm mini onslaught
BM bedlam
ZT 170
ZT 777
Crkt eraser

I also have others but...

I have been itching to try a Superblue knife as a user. I will finally give it a shot when the SB delica is released.I have to stay focused because my resources are not unlimited.I can't have it all and I accept that fact. There are several must-have's for me coming up and I am sure some surprises are in store this year also..Shoot I am very blessed and lucky to have all the PM2 and Manix 2 sprints in my safe.I have really enjoyed some of the less expensive spyderco's like the delica and H1 series just as much as the higher priced ones.
