According to the Facebook page they have been dealing with denial of service attacks for the last week or so. Must have been a bad one today, I couldn't get BF to load all day. Of course this saved me $$$$, which is good. Denial of service means I don't have to rely on my will power not to buy a knife every five minutes.![]()
Well that kinda explains it.....oh and am I the only on that would kill for this proto?

Click for big pic.
Credit for this pic goes to xceptnl of the spyderco forum.
I got a Native 5 in the mail today. Not sure I am going to keep it or not. I like it, but it is awfully similar in size to the Caly 3 that I already have, and the Caly 3 is a little lighter. Someone needs to talk me into keeping it.
I also got my first mid-tech. A Sacha Thiel Officer, my first impression is very positive!
No you are not, it's by Marcin Slysz the designer of the Techno. I will be all over it when it comes out.
Native5, tough yet elegant well built American made knife. It could probably survive a nuclear attack. What's not to like
How do you like the pivot bushing on it? I've learned that I can open and close it in ways similar to the PM2 if I wanted to. Of course, nice and slow is my preferred method of opening, but snap closing it (gently) one handed is nice.
I pulled the trigger on the moonglow out of excitement but I now realize that it's just gonna sit in my collection. Very nice and cool, but I won't be carrying it at all. I'll probably end up using it to fund one of the other two Native5's known to be coming out. I'm uber ready for those!

Native 5 A+ Sprints please!
That is why I try to pick and choose what I buy.I know that I am 100 % sure that I will buy N5 sprints. The Manix XL sprints are a must-have and any other PM2's like a ti version.I would love to see the N5 line expand(sprints)beyond a lightweight version.I saw the N5 moon glow EDC forum knife and have mixed feeling about that particular version...Man I can't get FLUTED CF out of my mind....

I have been itching to try a Superblue knife as a user. I will finally give it a shot when the SB delica is released.I have to stay focused because my resources are not unlimited.I can't have it all and I accept that fact. There are several must-have's for me coming up and I am sure some surprises are in store this year also..Shoot I am very blessed and lucky to have all the PM2 and Manix 2 sprints in my safe.I have really enjoyed some of the less expensive spyderco's like the delica and H1 series just as much as the higher priced ones.
