I don't have a Military, but Spyderco makes a great product. However, I have a AFCK and its a great knife that does "everything" well. It's got great steel (D-2) it has a great lock (Axis) and it has a hole for opening like Spyderco (which I perfer to a stud or disk). I'd pick up both and see which one fits for you. If I had the choice I'd go AFCK
