I’m glad to see CQI applying to the SpydieChef. That should mean it’s expected to be in production for a long time yet. Earlier this year, many dealers were out of stock. I wonder if that was a time when old stock was depleted while the new version was awaited.

Mine’s the old version but a great knife, one of my favorites.

Being one of my favorites so far from Spyderco. I decided to mod it a little bit.

Spyderco Spydiechef CQI
-Ti Hardware
-Ti RGT Clip (Stonewashed)
-Custom Lady Liberty Ano w/gold & blue flecks on scales. Hardware + clip anodized bronze.


Just got the knife back from Esteban (TiSurvival), very thrilled with the results. I have a matching bead to go with it and then I will add on the lanyard and the knife will be complete. I will get some better pictures one the knife is complete. Techno 2 should be arriving this week as well! Now I just need to land a Slysz Bowie next.

I finally was able top get my hands on one. I like it very much, as I do with all Slysz Designs
It has quite a bit of lockstick, but it has already gotten better after several openings. Was the same with the Slysz Bowie...and that ist perfect now.
