(Just kidding about the newbie thing)

At least you guys didn't ask the usual newbie question: "Which knife should I buy?" That's how I ended up here.

Then again, I've been here two years and I still ask that question!

So what Spydies are your favorites, or which ones are you interested in buying?

Personally I really don't know much about knives and I don't plan on buying one for myself till after X-mas just because I gotta make sure I have enough X-mas money for the family and co. But I am very intrested in the Gunting. Another knife I like but isn't a spydie is the Osborne (spelling ? ) mainly cause the lock on it is so simple...right now I have trouble with liner and compression locks...or as I use to call them comprehension locks...:footinmou

Darn, I see you explained your handle; I was gonna mess with you about Coltrane or air conditioners, then I was gonna say probably Coltrane and tell you a story from back in the Drum Corps days of a mellophone chick who sounded just like an air conditioner. We called her 'Fedders'. To this day, she has no idea why...

Sorry I didn't get back to you sooner FTC, the men's group from my church was on a retreat this weekend and I just got back in town. Anyway, here goes. I have an SS Delica PE, CRN Delica 50/50 and an CRN Endura Spyderedge. I intend to get a new Rescue, a ProGrip II, Native and a Paramilitary. I just picked up an SS Leek so it will be a month or so before a I get the next one.
P.S.: I hope nobody minds seeing this crazy thread still on page one. I saw that it was on page 5 before I left town and frankly breathed a sigh of relief. I get back and it was on page two.

I am a little disappointed to be honest. I am not
much of a Spydie fan and was hoping that a good heated
discussion would give me some valid clues as to why I
should appreciate them more.

Oh well, at least I had a good chuckle over the post.

OK, now that I picked myself up after I fell off my chair !!!! Please know that this was merely a joke!!! I think Spydies are the best combination of quality material, innovative designs, value, superior ergonomics and just plain cool lines. Please forgive me. I have this tremendous fear that some way you could fix it that I never get to buy another Spydie the rest of my life. I'm not sure how it could be done but I just have that feeling. I promise to never post another naughty subject heading about Spydies again!!!
