SpyOpera!

I am seriously considering it. It kinda reminds me of Gayle Bradley Spyderco designs. I like that.

The construction of the scales should allow pretty easily for customizations down the road.

i am going to reach out to BOOMER about some scales for my spyopera after hes done with my Delica scales. I love mine. It just feels really expensive when i carry it

One word to describe the Spyopera ... smooth. The design, the finish, the action, heck everything but the edge is smooth. One seriously nice Spyderco.

I agree! I picked one up a week ago and its been my edc since.
My sample had a bit of side to side play (when closed) that resolved with a pivot adjustment. It has a non-captive pivot, but I was able to break it free with a quick blast of a hair dryer. Lionsteel got a perfect amount of thread locker on this one!

Otherwise my knife is on-point QC wise and is centered or close enough to center that a highly ocd guy like myself is satisfied.

It still looks a little funky to me (which can be endearing) and it’s a departure from my usual carry. Different can be good!

Here’s a pic I pit up in GKD last week.
