"Squatchers"

I think something like this is really gonna cast doubt on future photo/video evidence that could be real.

When you look at how they put the suit together its not so far fetched that one could have been made in the 60's. A little time and effort goes a long way.

This looks pretty convincing but its a still from the movie.

My biggest issue about the Patterson film is convenience...They were going to make a movie about bigfoot and low and behold in walks bigfooot. That's like winning the lottery which may have been the intent from the start.

People however have encounters and there have been stories of this beast for many many years. There has to be something to it other than mass delusion.

I thought this was a pretty interesting article. The thing about footprints is not only can they be made, but made with such precision they show dermal ridges and scars and so on.

this was another good one...

that could explain the fact that the dermal ridges are always big and spread out. one of the history channel shows had a hand print on a vehicle that an expert took a print from and it showed the ridges. they were a lot bigger, and spread out compared to human prints. the bigfoot experts seemed to think that was proof it wasn't fake.

I guess my mindset was if the dermal ridges were real then that might be a way to track one, like a fingerprint. After a bit of reading I guess they aren't so hard to fake.

It's gonna be a let down when some dunce shoots one.

The whole phenomena will go from an interesting but amorphous mystery to boring dead primate. The environmentalists will then declare them an endangered species, the shooter will go to jail, and the gov't might even severely curtail backpacking in the Sierras.

Tell me it wouldn't go down like that. That's just about the way we roll, in California.

I don't think it is delusional, I think people are really seeing something, I just don't think it is a bigfoot. Chris

Well, I think you should contact them and volunteer to go along, Rick then you can come back here and report. They may just settle for a moderator of B/F, even though they would like a major networks reporter. Of course it seems you may not come back according to what they say!

I read that part, too. Totally ridiculous. Do you really think these guys are legit, Jill? Do you think anyone from CNN will opt into going out there. Their criteria for "surviving" the expedition is hilarious. Money making scam. Nobody will ever fit the bill for them. They will sell a whack of DVDs get some publicity then fade away when questions are asked.

Infact, Jill.... I am writing an email to them right now, asking to come on a trip. Just because I want to read the response. I will post it here.

Nevermind.... I google him. Nice.

I've never heard of them before today. From the little I've read seems Standing is full of it.

To tell you the truth, as I typed the email to that website, I felt excited. I suppose it is natural to want bigfoot to be real.
