A message from Dan over at the SYKW forum about tonights SS4 inventory...

"We have discovered that someone recently broke into our inventory system and re-posted the INFI blades, showing the we had 80+ knives in stock. Let me be clear there are no INFI SS4 knives left. This type of hacking is not appreciated.

I really don't think anyone is hacking the system, i think the oversold returns are showing back up in inventory as they are batch processed. They probably need to disable their inventory control till everything is worked out and then zero everything out. Of course they would have to shut down their order site also till it was done.

i just checked and the site has only the scrapper 6 and the scrapper 6 le up for orders:grumpy:

Fwiw, contact PayPal and tell them what happened.. (put a link to here even) they *may* refund the fees.
When I was selling my PS3 on Ebay EVERY other bid/auction was fraudulent.. and i was racking up fees like crazy.. i reported everything to Ebay/PayPal.. it took 'em a few days but they refunded almost all my fees. Ymmv.

I feel sorry for Patti and Dan in all of this. The sale of Scrapper 4s is probably putting them into the red by now. God knows how many were oversold on the second release and now this happening. Ya"ll that don't deal with CC's as a payment method probably aren't aware that there is a 1-4% chargeback by the CC company for every return they do. It dosn't sound like alot but multiply it by hundreds of knife returns for not being in stock and it gets to be alot of money real fast.
