One question though. the wax on the non stabilized piece.... Is that there for a specific reason because it needed to be sealed? Or was it just to show off how it would look finished?

Hope you got my email Fletch , since it's not stabilized the previous owner waxed to highlight the grain instead of wetting for the photo.
