I am pretty sure that is #S2417
These scales change from light to dark as they are moved around and the light hits them from different angles.

That one is from the second pic, I was looking at the one on your initial post. I think it might be walnut burl, but it's a ninja on your site unless it's been sold.

Sorry, I mis read your question.
The set in the top photo was spalted maple burl. It is gone now.
There are some new spalted maple blocks that I could cut into scales.

Mark, that spalted maple, bottom left of the first pic is one incredibly sweet set of scales....Would love to see more like them
