Good evening craftsmen,

I have for your consideration an old ka-bar hunting knife that belonged to my great grandfather. I would like to see a new stacked leather handle put on it, collector value makes no difference to me, the washers are too far gone (I think, I've given them a good soak in neatsfoot oil a while back.) to be much use. I'm also open to a re-handle in a more modern material...

Here is a picture of the knife in question, the handle is held together with a threaded tang and brass nut. It's been in my possession for for about 14 years and does show signs of my adolescent meddling.

I can be reached via PM, or by email at akpwillis@ymail.com

Thanks for your time,

Anthony Willis.

Edited to add: A period correct leather sheath would be cool to add as well if possible... Gramps was killed in a farming accident in 1970.
