All of Todd's knives are winners,but lemme' tell ya'.I have a good eye for this sorta thing :D ,and this here knife right here,with it's unique 3-3/8" closed size (this is a GREAT size!) & awesome stag,well,this one is gonna make someone really pleased! If you like a Barlow,you may not ever get a chance to get one as nice as this in a lifetime Todd,it's amazing. :thumbup:

as an owner of 2 of Todd's knives, i agree with the above posts. is there a "Knife Maker of The Year" award ? 'cause i want to nominate T.A.Davison.
just look at all the superb knives bigal has posted here in the last year. prolific and ALWAYS right on ! roland
 
Does barlow mean it's got an extra long metal bolster that goes 1/3 of the way down the handle of the knife? or is there something else?

Jason, A Barlow is a pattern like this with the long bolsters.

Yep, a barlow is a folder with a long front bolster and no back bolster. And this is as nice a barlow as you'll ever see!

I received the knife yesterday. I am very impressed with your workmanship, and incredible attention to detail. It is beautiful! I have never seen stag like this, Your bolster looks fabulous, and then I can not tell where the blade ends and the spring begins. Your fit and finish is great. This is the finest knife I have held. Looking forward to many years of good use. Thanks!
