Stag Barlow

mmm.. don't know about three blades but a two blade whittler (sway back?)with the small blade being a warncliff for detail work would be nice. Almost any style large blade would be good for roughing out. :-) With three blades, the small blade would have to be on the edge so it can lay as flat as possible (which side depends on if your a lefty or righty). Not sure how ivory would hold up to actual use for carving. All my real carving knives are plain wood. Tends to create less blisters. Hmm.. a whittler in iorn wood . . . though the traditionl bone or stag would be nice. And after seeing the last one in black micarta, I think I like them all!

Thanks! everyone, I will be busy trying to get some made and saved for the BLADE SHOW.

This will be my first BLADE SHOW as an exihibitor, after making knives for over 25 years.....:)

I do appreciate the replies.

Thanks for the compliment there Barritt, much a appreciated.

Enjoy the new knife.
