That means a lot coming for the stag master ! I love both sides too. Thank you my friend ! With all this "knife of the year" talk and my lack of some GEC stag; I could not help it when I was just window shopping and it was on sale  I am living out of line, but I'm living ;)
I really realized a few years ago that I am only going to go around one time only . A person may not have time to come back and do IT . So do it while you can within reason of course . I think that is a 35 and if so , I am sure that you are going to really like . I hope that you will carry it in a slip . Carry it in good health my friend . I look forward to seeing that knife many more times .

Words of Wisdom indeed ! Thank you my friend ;)

While I don’t have this one in hand yet, it’ll be on it’s way to me Monday. Forged 1084 by M.S. Henry Torres (made as a J.S. just prior to getting his M.S. designation), with a stainless guard and butt cap. Should make for a nice small game style knife.

Dirk, each one of those knives are sweet. I love the old German hunting knife, but that weasel is something special! Is it a lockback?
Hi Johnny, sorry for the late answer.
Yes, the weasel is a lockback. Puma made 3 different sizes, this one is the smallest. The biggest is nearly comparable to the Buck 110. Sizewise, not in terms of the weight

While rummaging in some boxes today, I found this KA-BAR model 1189 large lockback from 1980 that my stepfather left to me. His initials were "RLL" and they are engraved in the left/lower bolster.

The dark spot in the stag next to the top of the left/lower bolster is a groove section, not a chip (as I had originally thought). There is a matching, though smaller, fainter groove, on the pile side.
