As always, lots of incredible stag today!!:thumbsup::cool::cool:

Just a couple that I want to single out.
I'd carry that stag even if the blade was missing, hahaha.
Lotta truth in that statement about Ken's vintage beauty! ;):thumbsup:

Speaking of vintage beauties, VP's stockman makes me hungry with its buttery, creamy, caramelly covers!!:cool::thumbsup::thumbsup:

I've been carrying a couple of stag canoes this week, and I don't anticipate that I'll personally ever have any stag better than these two!!:D:thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:

Thanks GT... I did a "Buy it Now" last year on an auction that had 7 Schrade Cut Co's for less than $200 and that was one of the knives in the bunch and the only one that wasn't jigged bone. I call them the Magnificent 7 :)

Made these for the wife for our Anniversary few months back. Set of eight steak knives with elk handles. The blocks are from an old set of el cheepo imported steak knives trying to be western. The blocks were the best part of that outfit. Sanded them and threw a couple of coats of danish oil on them as well:

She often uses them as regular kitchen knives too cause they are stuuuuupid sharp. They are ground extremely thin from stock that only started out .070 thick to start with, so are slicing sons of guns. AEB-L steel at 62RC.
As always, Dave, stunning in inspiration and execution. Merry Christmas to you and yours, dude.

Love the heater. Good and safe hunting, Jake.

Didn’t see many deer over the weekend. I think the snowstorm ruined it for us. Oh well, deer season is over now so it’s time to small game hunt and ice fish (permitting it gets cold and stays cold for good ice to form).

Either way, I have some other new beauties for the upcoming Stag Saturday show and tells!
