Stag Saturday - Let's See Some Traditional Stag!

Some outstanding stag showing up in here.

Mike, those are great examples. Especially that IXL.

SK, that Jos Allen and Sons is extraordinary.

You guys are killing me with your 301s. They're the best clasp knives ever made IMO. I'm going to have to ask my Commonwealth friends to keep an eye out for me, I never see them around here.

I've only ever come across that one Christian

Here's some Taylor's Eye Witness stag :)

The mail came! With many thanks to waynorth, a splendid Eric's Jack:

I'm amazed it's so light, just 2 oz. That puts it at 0.2 oz. less than my Schatt & Morgan Scout and just 0.4 oz. heavier than my Alox Cadet. But it has the handle length, girth, and in-hand feel of a larger, heavier knife.

Thanks, waynorth! :D

Whew!!
there is some unbelievable knives coming up here - Jack I just Love those Eye Witnesses .

Mike those Henckels are to die for - they were making some of the best knives you could get I believe at that time, and that lovely I*XL is prpobably one of that firms I have seen in a very very long time - just stunning my friend.

Jack - I must apologise - you must have thought I was - or am - Bonkers when I said your knife dodnt pop - when I first looked at your post there was a wooden Handled Early Sheffield in the picture???:confused: - not a Stag - but Oh man that Folder you showed certainly DOES pop- thats real popcorn Stag that!!!

No apology necessary my friend, though I did spend a couple of hours wondering if I had got the definition of 'popcorn' wrong! :D  Thanks for the kind words :)

Nice one Ron. The Clip Blade on that knife is very graceful and pleasing to the eye.
