Stag Saturday - Let's See Some Traditional Stag!

You are absolutely correct Jake !!!!! I just don't know which way to go . Re-Handle or Completely New and if either one , who's . I will be going to a knife show in a couple of weeks and I will be looking for some Stag for covers and talk to some of the custom makers . Big Problem is , I do not have the amount of money to spend on customs as some of you guys do .

Harry

Have fun at the show! I bet you’ll find a lot that catches your eye there. I know what you mean about customs and the prices though. It’s easier to spend $100 here and there for a GEC, but, passing a few along or passing on buying them and putting the money aside will get you a nice custom before you know it!

I’ll keep my eye out for ya as well, never know what I might stumble across.

Amazing stag today!! :thumbsup::thumbsup::cool::cool:
I especially enjoy seeing all the BF Stag Jacks showing up. I have one, but mine has bone covers now, so I'd better not post it here. :rolleyes:

The puma was a friend of my fathers knife, he lived by rend lake in southern Illinois his whole life and evidently cleaned many a bluegill with it. Backdrop is a pre war in 4440 with some older stag. Nothing replaces people, but I feel fortunate to hold their gear for themimage.jpg

Anytime I hear "safe queen" I think would you rather have BNIB or something like your photo with history. It's no contest for me. A man could live forever and not need anything else.

Yes sir I’ve locked through markland before. Thank you for the kind words. Pleasure craft can be a real danger (for us and them) through that stretch

Thanks for the answer . My oldest brother lives just down river a little bit from there in Lamb , Indiana . He actually gave me my very first Case . Yellow delrin Stockman and another one that I don't know the name of now . I then gave him an Old Red Sawcut Bone 77 Barlow . Take care my friend .
