We have a bumper crop of acorns here this year! I believe these are red oak. Sounds like driving on ice in my driveway.

Do you have both red and white oaks, Rob? I think I see both types of oak leaves in the pic. I have red oaks, and their acorn production is relatively low this year. How big is that gorgeous stag toothpick?

5K Qs good eye GT, yes we have white, red, pin, black, live oaks and probably more varieties. Im not a good tree identifier but I see 3 different acorns around town. The knife is a Case Hunter from the Tested era. 5 1/4" closed length with classic tested stag shaved to fit from the bottom side rather from the top. Shaving from the top to fit the bolsters is the easy way
