Really great stag on today's knives!

A 4" Weidmannsheil Copperhead locking knife with interesting blade combo Spear/small Wharncliffe and ingenious locking system. The Master is unlocked by squeezing the minor blade towards the spring. The Stag is untextured smooth polish or 3rd cut as it's sometimes called. But it certainly has its own attractions. Spear is deeply stamped.

Thanks, Will
That's a fine looking Copperhead, Will. The blade combo is a bonus, I think.

Muchas gracias por las amables palabras, Vince. :)
(Yo no hablo español, so my daughter always translated for me when I visited her in Spain. But, in her absence, I'm forced to trust Google Translate. Please forgive my errors!)

You're doing just fine, Gary. My next knife purchase will be from Spain: one of those Albacete knives José Antonio Herreros posted about recently. With polished stag!

!Salud!

I just got this one directly from PJ Tomes. He is truly a master bladesmith, and a master at working stag. And a super nice guy to top it off! The stag looks and feels incredible on this, and the forged 52100 blade is perfect.

That is an exceptional knife! Great stag that was properly fit all the way to the bolsters, blade that is well ground with a nice thin edge. Very well done.

What is the closed length?

Thank you, closed its just under 4.5".PJ's remington model. I guess you would call it full flat grind. I could not really see a secondary bevel. it was sharp when I received it and after a bit of stropping hairs were jumping off my arm like they were running from the blade.

Thank you.

Charlie the horseman's is especially attractive to me. Who's the maker?

It's an I*XL, Fodderwing! I'll show the blades on here, maybe tomorrow!!

Thanks Perry, and Lhpanther (I see you know that nice Remington pattern!! I have been looking for a nice one for years!)
