Fine knife, but the annoyances show! Actually revealing, as they were claiming to PIN all their shields soon after the Daniels' take over. Maybe that only applied to Queen and not Schatt though...![]()

That is in a class by itself. This one is from the '90s. I no longer own it but sure regret that. Bill Pease always seems to have great handle material. I had Coop photograph it and I believe it was in one of the knives annuals.

that Lloyd! oh, and nice pic too.Thank you Dwight. I do admit digital is easier but it does create more work, post exposure. I tried not to take too many exposures "back in the day" because slide film was costly for a young amateur. However that made me treasure every shot to the extent that both of my children got bored quickly whenever I would photograph them.
Even today I have a tendency to arrange my still lifes such as this one. View attachment 1079033
Dad worked commercial photography in Chicago and San Francisco, 1960’s to mid-70’s and some films were free, leftovers from jobs, not the nice color stuff usually, though. Dad didn’t mind how much I took until I started using his second set-up, an early F1 with auto winder, he applied further light and composition lessonsI tried not to take too many exposures "back in the day" because slide film was costly for a young amateurView attachment 1079033
