Stag Saturday - Let's See Some Traditional Stag!

Haven't posted in this thread for 3 weeks!:( Busy with my Dad's 90th birthday celebration on Aug. 1, traveling to vacation destination on Aug. 8. But I have a week of vacation remaining, and I grabbed a bunch of knives to take with me for 2 week's on Lake Huron's shore in Michigan's Upper Peninsula. These 2 stag models were included in the bunch.

I certainly am now, on seeing that:cool:

Galvanics were an astounding SFO of Eurekas first time round. I missed one by .... that much:eek: but had I got one it would've been used:D Admire the Gimp shield on those in particular, my dream knife would be an all steel (stainless..) single blade Talon, Rat-Tail, Barehead in Ivory Bone:thumbsup: But, that Galvanic Eureka would suffice ;)

I know the Thiers knife has existed only since 1993, but it really appeals to me.

Same here Vince  Well, GEC's only existed since 2006/7 but :D Of course the Theirs knife is a new pattern, kind of updated Lag in a way. I'm really keen on the two I have (Compacts): good size for most hands/pockets, easy to open but tough snap and the steel takes a fine edge, plus there's file-work which the French do a treat. The other one I have from 2013 is an Ebony with extra pinwork, but the stag (2011) went MIA SEVEN years:eek: only found in a revolting old pair of jeans when I moved house in Feb, was I pleased :D

Thanks, Will
