Thanks GT. Yes, that's the U.P. Its the "Mini Yooper" made by Rapid River Knifeworks in Rapid River, Michigan. The U.P. connection is the main reason I bought it. Quality is little hit or miss. It has a little horizontal blade play when open. Not too bad. Rock solid vertically. It has gaps along the liner/spring. OTOH the walk and talk is as good as any lockback I have. Its almost "silky". Blade steel is 154cm. It came very sharp. The blade is thin and slicey. Its a neat little knife. Their store is on my list of places to visit if I ever get back up there (its on the bucket list).I've been vacationing at a cottage with internet issues, but now I'm back home and trying to catch up with some of my favorite threads. This is a pretty cool knife, Mike! Drop point blade? Is that Michigan's Upper Peninsula outline on the bolster?
