Wow Invoice, those liners and back spring look fantastic! 😎👍

I guess I crossed the line posting a unique locking mechanism so here's one that can't be disqualified by whoever felt motivated enough to move my post.

Thats a little jab at the Mods! 👎, Both Gary and Frank do a great Job here and this is why the Traditional forums are so great, the Mods don't get any thanks - but plenty of side jabs like yours.
If you stuck to the rules of Traditionals you wouldn't have reason the moan, I hope the mods continue to "feel motivated" as you say!

I can admit when I'm wrong. Sorry friends and thank you mods for the work you do.

Here's a Luke Swenson lockback with stag from the Loveless shop as an early contribution to Stag Saturday.PXL_20210711_191544446~2_compress45.jpg

Yeah, that Swenson one very very nice Knife! In fact one very nice page full of gorgeous GEC's, and stunning customs started off by WValtakis and his Lyle

P

I’ll lose sleep tonight thinking about that Swenson!!,,
Thank you! If I could keep only one I think this might be it. Its everything I could want in a knife..stag.. the tension on it is dialed in perfect. Strong lockup.. really well finished and tolerances are tight but it's
still a knife that feels like it should be used...I can't say that for some of the knives in my collection. I imagine this is similar to a knife made by Tony or Reese Bose or Ruple... Knives that seem like they will look better with time and use.

I really liked listening to Luke's episode on the Mark of The Maker podcast.

About 40 years ago when I was kid, I got this knife from a family friend who claimed to be a cousin of Gene Autry. I don’t believe the knife had any connection to Gene Autry but still thought that was a neat thing. He did have an engraved set of (73) Colt Single Action Army Revolvers that he said belonged to his cousin. I thought they were wonderful!

I don’t really know anything about the knife, but the fit and finish is great, and it’s solid. The blade looks hammer marked in the picture, but it’s not; it’s engine turned. The stock that it’s ground from looks like it might be some kind of a saw blade. I never used it or sharpened it, but I just stropped it, and it’s razor sharp.

The story is probably better than the knife.😂 However, the knife’s neat, and it has sentimental value.
