Thanks so much Will Power , very high praise indeed from a traditional knife scholar such as yourself. On retrospect, I think I may have embelished the shape of the IXL, it has engraving on the shield and may have been pocketed but doesn't look to have cut anything.

I always enjoy watching as the stag knives show up each Saturday in this thread, generally moving east to west like the rising sun!
I'm not carrying any stag this week, but maybe I should have been carrying something like this Marbles "hot leg" knife, with a small stag spacer, to ward off the winter storms we've had.

Just arrived yesterday and I really like this one. Nice long cavernous channels, just a nice little stag lock-back Also, I really like how the stag runs up into the bolster, giving it the appearance of running under the bolster
