Stag Saturday - Let's See Some Traditional Stag!

John Lloyd-made Ettrick! Nice "wrap-around" spring that is hard to scan because of the curve. I really like the Birds-Eye rivet, and "emphatic" Stag!!View attachment 1746655View attachment 1746656View attachment 1746657
Stunning Charlie :)
Thanks my friend:) Beautiful example and very generous of you. Hope Askham was able to recreate this lovely pattern.
Great looking Sheffield stag posted by you as well:thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:

I gifted my other Bladeforums 2018 to my brother, he is going Elk hunting this year.

Thank you Dave, I forget who I sent the Askham to, they had asked if they could have it on loan, while they studied it, and I ended up gifting it. That was a few years ago, so I don't know if they were able to recreate it or not. Nice to see your Buck Forum knife
It's still Saturday out here, on the Pacific!!
In 2016, GEC could still get some decent Stag - even for the lowly Pruner!!
And why own one, when you luck into two!! 😲

Another couple of beauties Charlie

Good idea Todd!!! Three inch is all it need be so this 14 will do nicely for the day. :)

Thanks James, your 14 is fantastic, and I already saw the flip side! 😄👍
Nice still life, Todd! What can you tell us about the one in the middle -- that's a new one to me.
Thanks Jim, that’s a Boker Lockback with a 2” blade. I’d been looking at them for awhile, and out of the blue as it so often happens on the porch, Mike mbkr mbkr sent me a message and gifted this one to me. Nice fat stag which is really nice on a small knife in my opinion. Really like it. Thanks again Mike! 😊👍
Of the different flavors of GEC stag, I really do love the look of the stag on this 86...

Yes, that is a great looking 86, one of my favorite patterns. 😎👍
Another fantastic example, man this thread is on fire again today. I don’t know if I’ve seen a bad example of stag from that run of 62s. 😎👍
