The wife went to Scotland on a temporary reverse migration to Scotland,she thought if the Scots can come here the cree nation can go there, and on this day of love gave me valentine cookies,oh ya my ugly worn stag got a new dye job,it is now red stag of the Scottish highlands lol.

Very Nice : Natural Stag ( not Burnt Stag ) , Serialized , and With a Shield . It don't get much better than that .That is from the good old days . Carry it proudly and in good health my friend .
Edited to add ::: I believe a #42 from 2012 and 1 of 30 ?????
Harry
Thank you, Harry -- very much appreciated. :)

And, yes, you're exactly right -- 1 of 30 from 2012.

That's a heapin' helpin' of gorgeous stag, Harry! Nice to see another "Natural Stag" piece from GEC -- just beautiful. 😍

Can you share details on the vintage piece?
Actually there are 2 that are Natural Stag . The Bottom 73 is also Natural Stag . Back in the time frame they were made only Natural Stag was Serialized .
Now for the Old Stag Trimmer : I saw it on the net to bid on so I bid $29 and no one else bid . It was a very dull color of brown to grey . The day I received it I put some Mineral Oil on it to put some moisture back into the Stag and then hand buffed it off with a soft cloth . I believe that it was made in Sheffield by a cutler that was very much influenced by the Saynor & Ridal design . The are No Tang or Blade Stamps on it . It is old enough to have Integral Bolsters and it has a Squared End . There is NO BRASS in it and I sometimes carry it in my pocket and use it during the summer . I IMHO I think that it is the best Stag that I have . Oh Yeah : It is made of Unobtainium !!!!!

All top of the range Antler there Harry :cool:

But I can never get over those Pruners New and Ancient 😍 As you've pointed out, the ancient one was an incredible find and bargain , shows beautiful c19th era Stag of the dense pebble variety plus as you know it's Keep Off the Brass for that satisfying verdigris free zone ;) It's nice to see that you like using it too. The GEC is an impressive contemporary Pruner with very desirable Stag .

All the best, Will
