This #73 from 2011 just came in recently as a Christmas present from my old man. He is getting pretty long in the tooth and between life and work we don't see each other but every few years. It's a beautiful knife and one that I will certainly pass down to my own boys one day. Means a lot to me that he took the time to make it happen.

That is a very nice present from your Dad Stonebeard . Sorry to hear that you don't get to see him very often . It appears to me that you will need to get another knife like that to make sure that each of you boys gets one similar to it in order to head off any feuds . Really like the Stag and the fact that it is a 73.

Thanks Harry. I think you are correct about having to get another one like it to head off the Feuds haha. My boys are two and five and they regularly come to blows over the simplest of toys. I'd hate to see what their teenage selves would do were there only one of these. This is the exact reason I sold my old YJ Jeep... I couldn't afford to buy and build up another one to keep things fair. The only other 73 I have is a very humble brown box jigged bone liner lock but it is comfortable in hand and I enjoy using it for heavier cutting tasks.
