Stainless GEC models, primarily the Viper

more 15s more 15s more 15s :D was there a reason they couldnt do a long pull on the 440?

I Don't know, mrknife!!??

My Stainless GEC, (or, Examine the Stampings Carefully!!).
Here is a knife from 2012, made by some guy called Cy Clops! ;)
I know this knife has a nickname - can someone enlighten me??

While you'all are trying to remember what that Cy Clops knife is called, here is a pair of Elk/stainless #74 Mustangs. They were in the GEC store during the Rendezvous. The contrast between the two pairs of Elk handles was so striking, I had to buy them both - just for this thread!!
One pair of handles is so smooth, it looks and feels like so-called "Apaloosa".
The other is as good as Elk gets. Elk is notorious for having minimal texture, but this second knife is fully "charactered!!

Is that smooth handle really elk, or is it one of the rendezvous specials from the previous year? The 2016 10 year anniversary mustang was Primitive bone. If that's what it is, it's a rare bird for sure.

Your other knife, the long and thin gentleman, that's a riverboat gambler, no?

mrknife mrknife Ruth and June wanted to pose for you when they read your plea for more #15s.

Come to think of it, I haven't seen a long pull on any acorns, which would make me think it's either a production or a cost issue. But that's just speculation.

tk, I think the 10 year anniversary mustang had a special etch, if I am not mistaken? These are both 745116s (from 2016) though. The tubes are gone, so I hope I have not erred!!
Ruth and June are lovely!!:)

Nice Stag mod, Alan!

Thanks for the name, Dave and tk. Is it "Riverboat" or just "Gambler?"

What a collection, Jeff!!!

Your correct, the Rendezvous knife did have a special etch. How intriguing...

That Painted Pony SFO of Jeff's looks like magic to me.

Thanks, Charlie! Any chance you could get Bill to do a run of 440C TCs?

This would be the day that I may'had to change my mind about Ruth and June being my favorite pocket knives ever.
