You are correct in that people cannot carry weapons for self defence. On the other hand, people can and do defend themselves from attack here, daily, using ‘whatever is to hand’. There are legal pitfalls to carrying knives, not just here but in many countries, and the very last thing I would do is pull out a knife, even though it be carried legitimately. Too slow, for one thing, and just a legal nightmare. But yes, another thread in another place.

About two years ago Stallone did a voice over on a commercial that demonstrated to me that he’s as dumb as doorknob. I do not value his opinion or his work at all anymore.

As to the topic at hand...good on Pohl for the smart marketing.

I for one have a huge amount of respect for Stallone

He is mild with his political views compared to the rest of Hollywood

Yes movies like the Expendables suck but all in all his body of work is more than impressive

If you ever see videos of him interacting with his daughters and fans you can see he’s a decent guy
