Anyone interested in trading the older style stamped ka-Bar beckers for my NIB etched ones? I have etched bk4, bk10, bk15, bk16, and a bk17. I just want to mod them and have them match my already modded other beckers. I figured this was more relevant here rather than in the trade section. If this violates the rules mods feel free to delete or move. Thx. PM me if interested.

AFAIK the tweeners were never available stamped. And the stamped 10 might have been Camillus? Anywho, good luck!
I have a stamped BK4, it was one of the early releases Kabar made available on this forum. I've already stripped it and convexed the edge, and sanded it a bit but it needs more. I'd be willing to trade for a new one.... I kinda regret stripping it sometimes. For some reason I am not able to send you a PM, so if you are interested say so in this thread and we can contact one another a different way.

Ka-bar Stamped BK-4's were a limited first production run. I have one. They were available from one online retailer. Same one that has the first production Tweener's with the roll stamp.
Stamped BK-10's were limited to a Ka-bar run of I think 180 made from left over camillus blanks. That was before they were rereleased. Cost at least twice as much.
To be honest, You can etch the new logos and get them pretty deep. I have done a few that were as deep as the rollstamped versions.
I do prefer the look of the deeper logos.
