Star Tac Replacment

T.L.E. Sharp, nice suggestion. Lots of different customization options. Along with two different steel choices. Great find!

dcmartin Love Les Georges options. I was actually looking at the Rockeye and XL Rockeye and somehow missed the VECP. Went back and I like what I see.

I'm really digging Giant mouse knives, but have no ideas about the steel they use. it says "N690 Cobalt high performance powder steel" any knowledge or experience with that? Also thanks for the clarification on the Umnumzaan/Startac. Glad to know the only difference is cosmetic.

I'd seriously consider a Freeman 451 Flipper in titanium. I haven't handled the titanium variant, but the standard was an absolute joy.

This! Short of getting another CRK, a Freeman would be a great choice. I love my aluminum handle 451 and can only imagine how sweet the Ti would be. I don't know why this knife doesn't get more love.

If you liked the Star Tac I would go with another.
I prefer the Starbenza myself, and have large and small. Sounds like you're looking for something with a thicker blade though, and the ST sounds like just what you're looking for.
Can't beat a CRK folder(IMO anyway).

I haven't seen it for sale on the retail market yet. That may have something to do with it. You kind of have to already know about it to find it.

Thank you all for the help and suggestions! I have narrowed my choices down to either a Grayman Satu Ti-Ti. And a Giant Mouse Gm-1. The Gm1 is obviously a limited supply and an all around beautiful and utilitarian folder. Where as if I'm ever carrying my Satu working and get hit by an anti tank round at least I know settled in my ashes in the center of the crater will be my knife in mint condition haha. I have made a list and saved every suggestion I have been given because I always make a point of holding or trying out every suggestion when able. I realize these are two completely different knives but hopefully I will come to a decision. Once again thank you all very, very much. I love posting here and being a part of your community. If there is any further input feel free to add your thoughts.
