I have 2 of the old 5.1s, three if you count the one I gave to my son. I think getting one of the new spec. knives is in order. I hope there are enough when the pre orders are done shipping to grab one. Did I ever say that I like this model?

The Man Himself said on instagram that it is down to a matter of weeks. I don't know if that means 3 weeks or 8 weeks, but we're getting closer!

I'm not ready to make any promises. It will be at least a few weeks for all of the handles and sheaths to get here. Ideally, those will start shipping in about a month.

From left to right we have: Just cut out and machined to size, double disc ground, after heat treat, peened finish, engraved and built.

Personally, I'm really liking how the camo pattern turned out. Looking forward to seeing the 3 color camo G10.

I'm going to guess a new color of micarta for the handles. Seems more textured than G10 but the colors look different than what I'm used to seeing. I like it!

The one in the picture is the same old standard camo canvas. Between the quality and the contouring, it makes for a pretty nice handle.

That is just to denote that it is a CPM-20CV blade. Otherwise things would get pretty confusing during the production process.

The one in the picture is the same old standard camo canvas. Between the quality and the contouring, it makes for a pretty nice handle.

The contouring really gives it a great look, as if there's more depth to the pattern. Very nice.
