I have not cut a thing with it, the person who I traded it with said that it was new and I have no reason to doubt him. But I'm not going to say that it is new as it's out of box and I don't know the history of it. But the blades are clean as far as I can tell. Has a BSA logo on it as well. As you can see it has glow in the dark scales no box. Open for trades of equal value. Otherwise it will stay in my office drawer.
