Limited to 1,000 pieces, this 119 Special features a mid-panel flat ground, straight clip, CRU-WEAR blade with a durable Cobalt Cerakote finish for exceptional performance. The SureTouch handle, built from gray G10 and black rubber layers, offers a secure grip and striking look. Completed with a USA-made distressed black leather sheath, this modern take on the iconic 119 Special blends stealth styling with collector-grade craftsmanship. This unique 119 was expertly built as part of the 2025 Project Stealth, Run #11, to celebrate National Knife Day, and includes a Certificate of Authenticity.

$275 USD, though. Cerakoted. Not even brass. SureTouch - what is that? I think the Cerakote is what is going to make me pass.

Edit: Found this:

A SureTouch knife handle is a revolutionary material by Norplex (under the UltreX™ brand) that combines the extreme toughness and durability of G-10 fiberglass and epoxy resin with the soft, anti-slip grip of rubber. This layered material provides a comfortable and secure hold, even in harsh conditions, while retaining the aesthetic appeal and strength of G-10, making it a popular choice for outdoor, hunting, and everyday carry knives.

Dang. I was excited that I caught my text message immediately. Usually I miss those. Ran upstairs to use my desktop for direct connection. Web site was busy at first. Took a few minutes to get on. I was thinking it was going to be something great. Then I got on the site and although the product is OK, it's not the greatness I expected. For that price, I would have got it if it were a 124 :)

Happy Knife Day!

I don't need another knife...nor do I need 99% of the knives I own. My EDC rotation only occasionally gets bigger.

However, the Collector in me likes this one a lot. The gray, black and silver look great together, the straight clip blade is a bonus, and I generally don't mind the Cerakote, especially since I won't be using this one.

Yes, please, I am in for one.

The handle material is attractive and interesting on paper. I'd love to handle one and feel the grippyness. If it were a 104, 118, or 117 I would buy one. Just not looking for another modern 119 right now.

It's perfect. It's worth the $ compared to what other knives with super steel and handle cost. I just don't spend that on a knife, the value of a std 119 overcomes the upgraded materials FOR ME.

What a gorgeous knife! I'd be in on one if my wallet was in better shape right now. I know this will be a regret down the road.
