Would like to see this paired with the same materials on a 117.

Not many pictures here.

How are you liking the SureTouch handle?
I like it.
It's not as grippy as I thought it would be.
Seems to be better than micarta. I like micarta.

I haven't used it at all....
I'm curious .... will it hold up?
.....will it get sticky when exposed to heat?
....I'm guessing it's pretty durable.

I think it would make a great handle for a well used knife. I'd be interested in others.

You have one.
What's your thoughts so far?

I don't have a 119, or real any use for one. I have a 104 that I absolutely love as a "camp knife", and a 117 pro that gets neglected in that role because of the 104 (along with the appropriate number of Moras stashed in my camping gear lol).

But at the BCCI price, I keep looking at this darn thing 🤣.

I find it interesting how price affects my appreciation of certain knives. At the original price I liked it, at the discount I love it.

You are correct Gary. And I was second guessing myself for ordering two. Alway follow the gut.
Yep.
And like you suggested, they need to move some of those Dec '23 botm 212's.
They have 300 of them in stock still.
I think they're discounting them at the factory store as I see them on eBay for less than what they are on the website. .....(and flippers don't sell knives for cost)
🥴

That was a great knife. I expected those to sellout.

BOTM 212 and 113 models typically do not sell out, as demand for these models appears to saturate quickly.

With no sticky/gummy feeling, the SureTouch handle has much more texture to it than the phenolic & micarta handles. The top and bottom of the handle has fine ridges formed by the alternating layers of G10 & black rubber. The micarta handle has ridges, albeit much finer.

The SureTouch handle may add a bit of heft as it is the heaviest knife at 235 grams with the phenolic at 222 grams and the linen micarta at 215 grams.

The Cerakote may be adding a few grams.
