... Had someone telling me that ALL Fusion handles are the same size, it's fairly clear to see they aren't. (Put the talon holes of an ASH next to the talon holes of a FSH, not the same size.)
The ASH-1 is a straight handle, a re-creation of the original Steel Heart.
Here is some info on the Fusion handle (this is a quote from Jerry): "The handles are contoured out of micarta that is over 60% thicker than before and is chock full of palm swells and curves. The unique fusion of the straight handle, bird's beak, and ergo designs have yielded a "two position" handle. As you hold it towards the front you'll feel the aggressive non-slip grip pattern of the flying raptor scales. . . in the chopping position, with the handle forward for added leverage, you'll note the smoother, less aggressive grip pattern of the diamond quilted micarta."

While I am fairly sure all Fusion handles have the same size outline of the handle, the size of the grips do vary from what Jerry described above. I have a HHFSH with standard size grips, as compared to the magnum grips. Some of the newer models have come with hand-sanded grips from the factory (which I think started as magnum grips).
Another factor that influences the feel of the handle is the thickness of the steel; in other words, a .25" Fusion-handled knife with the same grips will feel noticeably different than one that is .31-.32" thick. Compare a skinny ASH-1 at .19" thick vs. a CG ASH-1 at .32" thick, with both having the same grips, and you will really notice a difference.
Keep in mind that Busse can always re-handle a knife, or you could sand grips and customize them for your hand size & shape.
