Anyone have contact info for someone who makes the stamps? Also how much for 11 characters? Getting my tax return back in a couple of weeks and am planning my budget carefully.

Why not go straight to the source and get the perfect info?

Every order will be different due to different specifications

Thanks. If I had a way to etch I probably might do that but to me a stamp will last longer than a stencil since once you use the stencil its gone and this knife I'm working on a stamp would last much longer. Not to mention there is not much room to place a stencil but I know I can fit a stamp in.

There are several tutorials here on building an etcher (CHEAP) Also, "once you use the stencil"....You can use it again about a dozen times and then move on to one of the other 20 stencils he sends you for 30$ and use them 12 times/stencil.... That oughtta last you a bit I'd say. If you can fit a stamp on it you can fit a stencil on it. Your stencil can be anything you desire and any size as well. Personally I really wish I hadn't spent the money on the stamp and had just bought the stencil to begin with.....

Thanks Matt. I'm with J. McDonald, "in search of a stamp", and I've wondered if makers preferred 1 method over another. I'm just guessing there's nothing "unethical or taboo" in using an etched mark on a forged blade;)

As someone said before Everstamp is a good choice.

I got my 2 character logo at $180 and an 8 character name for $108.

This is the knife I'm working on and yes I know its ugly but this is designed by bowfisherman for bowfisherman. Just needing to put my mark on this somehow. And yes this knife floats and its just a rough CAD drawing of it. Plan to have them waterjet cutout so that I spend less time filing and more time making them.

I would definately go the etcher route. So much easier. If you want a good stamp at an excellent price look at Riverside Machine (Uncle Al). They are extremely well made and about a third the price.

Thanks guys. I'll have to look into the stencils. I'll start that tomorrow, today I'm just resting my back from my neighbors fiances birthday part last night and 5 hours of pool. Got me a billiards teacher now only cause he said I have potential.

I order a new stencil every year. I change the design up. That dates my knives to year.
