Someone put this up on the Reddit "knives" section today. Very cool if only from the engineering standpoint.

Fantastic, the creativity is phenomenal, not economical and would atract dirt like a cat fleas.but nonetheless very nicely build.

Certainly not the most practical knife, but interesting for sure. I just don't understand why steampunk has to have gears and bolts and nuts everywhere just because. I would say any GEC would fit steampunk well, and still be more practical.. But eh, nerds!

As a work of art, that is magnificent and the maker should be extremely proud. As a usable knife, F-. It's like carrying around a flint and tinder as a lighter; technically adequate, but logistically stupid. ;)

I like it, but it's pretty much a coffee table knife.

I was hoping to see him do some spine whacks and some batoning

Agreed. Neat "art" knife. Ala some of Larry Fuegen's stuff.

Incredible work of engineering and art. Stunning, really.

People making negative posts regarding it's status as a viable EDC need to take their criticism to a thread where it is valid. That is not what this brilliant knife is about.
