Recently, I asked Stephan Fowler to make me a knife. Right off, the experience was pleasant, the wait was short and the service absolutely first-rate. The knife was gorgeous and the workmanship excellent. The best thing I can say is that I don't understand how he can sell his knifes for what he asks. On top of extremely good prices, he offers a very generous discount to military, LE and Fire-fighters, which I chose not to take advantage of because the price was already more than fair on my side of the deal. I won't get to review the knife because I failed to pay attention to the specs or ask enough questions and the handle was not suited (sized) to me/my uses. I have already recommended Stephan privately to a number of people and figured I might as well stroll over here and let everyone know. Now, I don't get all "ga-ga" over just any "new" knife. If I don't like something, I don't like it. I like Stephan and love his service and his work.:thumbup::thumbup:

Stephan is a stand up guy! A great forger and rising very fast up the ranks of custom knifemakers, I have only been around his knives for a short time but every new knife brings a new level of skill and finess, I just boxed up one of his passaround knives from another forum and it is a sweetheart of a EDC! Hang on to his early ones as I think he is destined for great things!
