I wanted a Fowler blade for some time and I think in september contacted Stephan. I had a idea of what will be the perfect knife for me. Stephan made some sketches for me and we both agreed that he start making the blade as soon as possible.
After he forged one I had some doubts about it. I just wanted a wider blade. Stephan just made another blade without telling me that I'm an asshole...
After that he started to send me work in progress pictures. I was very pleased with what I saw. Then the blade was finished.
He shipped it to me in a solid package. I like that very much, because it shows to me that he's still taking care of the knife when he leaves it on the PO.
Well when I finally opened the package I was amazed. All I could say was ... WOW!!
It's a big blade but it feels light and it has a great balance. The handle fits like a glove, it's just too good.
The edge is convex and screaming sharp, it's just amazing.
Superb fit and finish and the leather sheath is solid and has a nice colour.
The blade is exactly as I wanted it.
Great communication, fast shipping, great service and the price is much too low what he asked.
