• Happy Thanksgiving to all of you! I hope that you all have something to be grateful for this year and for many years to come
  • America has reached 250 years, and I am grateful to be here, in the best country in the world. Thank every one of you who helps make this country a better place, those who have gone before and risked it all, and those who've paid the ultimate price to make the United States what we are today.

    Happy Birthday America! Let Freedom Ring for all time!

@Âchillepattada
I missed this post somehow - another nice knife by Stephane!!:thumbsup:
What is the wood, J-M??

Hello Charlie,
The handle of this knife is in stabilized acacia.
Stéphane loves stabilized woods ( I don't :confused: ). It gives usually beautiful colours but it doesn't change and takes no patina . :(
But I have to add that we don't have is France these very nice micarta which can be found in America. So for those who are looking for synthetic handles it's a solution .

Micarta is very practical and durable, for a knife to use extensively, but nothing beats exotic woods, even stabilized with resin, in my view!!
I like some micartas, and also some acrylics, but materials found in nature are the most aesthetically pleasing to me!

Nice ones in wood, J-M!!:thumbsup: I like the file-work on the liners!!
Always preferred it on the liners as opposed to the springs!!
How long are they??
