Stockman lovers be heard!!

The Lambsfoot is possibly the typical British pattern. It's not a favorite of mine i'm afraid. It's good, just too common here to interest me. I can't get excited about it. The fuller blade of the Farmer style looks better to me.

My first Stockman was a Craftsman one just like my Dads. He got his when he got married from my Mom instead of a wedding band. He broke it many times over, kept getting replaced. I couldn't tell you where mine is now. So, I got an Old Timer to replace it. I cary it when I don't need my serrated edge.

I picked these two up on trades recently. Good to have them 'back'. I had carried and used both of these models years ago, but then sold them off because.. well.. they weren't tacti-cool...

Added a nice Puma Olive wood stockman to the EDC this week nice snap! Cuts like a laser. A bit squarish tho, I like the bolsters just a little bit more rounded. All in all, a winner.

One thing a bout Puma stockmans that makes them shine over some others is that the sheepsfoot, while large enough for big jobs, doesn't protrude above any other blade in the closed position. This is something that I have always noticed about USA Schrades in particular, it can make for some uncomfortable cutting on big jobs. Still love my Schrades tho.
