Did you hunt the warthog?
Beautiful knife and binos, I'm a leica man myself. Sold a rifle to buy them and never regretted it!
- no, sir..........these were a gift from one of my ranger chums in SA.Did you hunt the warthog?
Can't say they're on my list other than it'd be nice to have a tusk to make a knife and front sight bead foe one of my rifles.- no, sir..........these were a gift from one of my ranger chums in SA.
A Warthog isn't really something I'd class as needing a 'hunt'..........they can be picked-off in almost any/every situation in the African bush.
Those ivory tusk look amazing. Are you thinking about recovering the knives with them?
- no, wouldn’t wish to change those knives………simply that Warthog is common in SA where the two Stockman folders came from in the photo tooThose ivory tusk look amazing. Are you thinking about recovering the knives with them?
Wow, that's a flash back from the past. It's about 30 years old, from back when I was just getting started. From before I kept records. The wood is snakewood. I'm glad you like the knife.A little 3 1/4" stockman byMark Knapp that I recently aquired off the secondary market. Neat knife, I'm not sure what wood the scales are made from.
