Stockman Sunday picture show

Wow, so many great ones today! Here's an old favorite of mine.

My 319 has a 'smooth bore' punch, many others have grooved or threaded ones, can anybody shed light on why? Year or place of manufacture perhaps??

Thanks Will

I have both versions... Hey, it's what I do :) My understanding is that the serrated punch knives are early in the run. Some claim that they're rare, but I'm not so sure of that. The 319 was in production from around '75 through '90, I've never heard a cutoff date for the serrated punch. That was a Camillus-made knife, and they also produced that big Stockman with the serrated punch with their own tang stamp.

I really wish they’d do another run but I’m afraid the popularity would make it impossible to get one.
Yeah. I have one in bone & one in stag, but really wish I'd have picked one up in ebony when they were available. They're just about the right size for me & really ride well in the pocket.
